The SNOWMAN Series, crafted by gently flattening two rounded glass orbs that shine softly, warmly illuminates its surroundings. The shade, inflated like a balloon with glass or plastic resin, is created as a single piece without any seams. It features an LED light source inside, designed to scatter light without casting shadows, providing a natural glow. Even when the light is off during the day, it showcases a beautiful silhouette. First introducedt as a table lamp in 2021, the series has expanded to include portable lamps, floor lamps, pendants, and wall & ceiling lamps, totaling 14 different series. The numbers appended to the product names indicate the size of the shade. The SNOWMAN22 Table is the foundational model of the series. Its glass shade is crafted using a manual blowing technique that incorporates the warmth of a skilled artisan’s hands and years of expertise, rather than mass production. This results in a more charming and high-gloss finish. The lamp features an integrated LED composed of 48 chips, allowing for various color temperatures. It also includes a high-efficiency light source design and a heat dissipation system. The switch is developed using components from Japan’s ALPS ALPINE, providing stable and intuitive control akin to high-end audio equipment. The SNOWMAN8 Portable, the smallest member of the SNOWMAN Family, is designed for a more free and active usage environment. Its shade is produced using a plastic blowing method similar to that used for making PET bottles, and it includes a high-capacity internal battery. Weighing only 85 grams, it is remarkably lightweight. A magnetic system at the base of the lamp allows it to be paired with five different docking stations: Magnet Strap, Floor, Wood Tray, Pendant, and Wall, making it versatile for various settings and situations. ILKW’s goal with the SNOWMAN series is not to create an art piece that hangs in a gallery, but to craft lighting that brings warmth and affection into the depths of users’ daily lives.
